"Champs" program for mentally challenged girls.  Directed by Dave Rojas, the Champs play on Saturdays at 10:00am with the help of the 14 & under Division teams on a rotating basis.  If you have not seen the Champs play softball, come watch.  We are sure that it will touch your heart.  For information regarding the Champs program, contact Doug Mansfield at dougmansfield@cox.net.
 

 SPRING SEASON REGISTRATION: 
The league will register girls for the current season by mail or registration days.

Please bring to registration:  Your daughter's birth certificate (new players) and your daughter to be sized for her uniform. 
SPRING REGISTRATION DIVISIONS:
Player ages per division are as follows:
6 & under Division must be 6 or younger on Jan 1
8 & under Division must be 8 or younger on Jan 1
10 & under Division must be 10 or younger on Jan 1
12 & under Division must be 12 or younger on Jan 1
14 & under Division must be 14 or younger on Jan 1

2007 REGISTRATION FEE REFUNDS:
The refund policy, as stated on the 2008 Registration Form, is as follows:  All refunds must be requested in writing to the league.  A refund of 100% will be given prior to December 31.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER Dec 31.  Please note:  refund requests must be sent through US Postal Service mail.  Email or phone requests will not be accepted or acknowledged.

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS REFUND EXCEPTION:  Girls trying out for their high school softball team are encouraged to register with the league as a back-up.  If she is selected for her high school team, a full refund will be given upon request through January 31, 2008.  If you wait to register and she is not selected for her high school team, the 14 & Under Division may be full.
 
LOCATION & PARKING:
Laguna Niguel Girls Softball League plays at Niguel Hills Middle School located at 29070 Paseo Escuela, Laguna Niguel, 92677.  Parking is provided in the school's front parking lot on school days until 5:30pm.  On school days after 5:30pm and on week-ends, parking is allowed on the blacktop in the back of the school (close by the fields).  Please do not park on the grass, the track, or on the yellow striped areas.  Driving on the grass is strictly prohibited.  We will lose the privilege of parking behind the school if we do not follow these rules.

DIRECTIONS TO THE FIELDS:
From the north:  Take the I-5 south, exit at Crown Valley.  Right at Crown Valley, Left at Golden Lantern, Left at Paseo Escuela, continue straight to Niguel Hills Middle School entrance.  If gate is open (left of office), parking is allowed in the back.
From the south:  Take the I-5 north, exit at Crown Valley.  Left at Crown Valley, Left at Golden Lantern, Left at Paso Escuela, continue straight to Niguel Hills Middle School entrance.  If gate is open (left of office), parking is allowed in the back.
 
SNACK BAR:
We have a world class snack bar.  Our Concessions Manager, Kristie DeArman, works many hours to keep it running.  Stop by some time and thank her for her efforts.  The snack bar is staffed by YOU!  Teams work 2-hour shifts according to the Snack Bar Schedule (it's on our web site: click here) and posted in the announcements box on the side of the snack bar.  Remember...snack bar duty is not a choice.  Every team and every family is expected to help out.  Your $50 deposit check will be returned or destroyed upon your completion of your volunteer duty. It is never convenient, so please make it a priority.  If teams do not provide enough volunteers, Kristie has no choice but to close the snack bar.  Cash only - we do not accept credit cards or checks.
